Glen Bottalico began painting wall murals in her native England at the Rochdale college of Art, and later studied art in Rhode Island. She perfected her art during the day, and by night performed American and English folk music as a singer/songwriter and guitar player.

Glen has been a professional artist throughout her career.  She owned and operated her own gallery on Ocean Drive in Vero Beach, Florida from 1984 to 2006 then reopened in 2008 at Exclusively coastal until there closing in July 2017.

Tropical landscapes through windows or doors or full-size animals are just a few of the pieces Glen is known for.  Large pieces have been her favorite for many years and some can be seen in local establishments throughout Florida.   Because the murals are applied like wallpaper, they are easily shipped anywhere.  Some have gone as far as Africa, England, and Canada. Many clients, and designers have taken advantage of the huge flexibility of this medium.

All artwork is acrylic on canvas, or wood. This means that the artwork can be placed anywhere and not affected by sunlight, heat or moisture. Paintings can also be done in a gallery wrap. The canvas is wrapped around to the back of the painting and is another variation to framing.
